This toolkit contains downloadable information and online video resources intended to assist victim-service providers in understanding the distinctive needs of older African American crime survivors and the range of services required to address those needs.
Abstract
This toolkit offers victim service providers and criminal justice systems stakeholders information and practical strategies to help them identify, reach, and serve older African American victims. It includes a guide with five content modules, each of which feature a fillable workbook, a printable workbook, and accompanying videos. This resource was developed by the National Clearinghouse on Abuse in Later Life and the National Resource Center for Reaching Victims with support from the Office for Victims of Crime.
