Funding Opportunity: 2023 National Crime Victims’ Rights Week Community Awareness Projects

Since 1981, National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW) has been a time to honor crime victims and survivors, recognize the work of the crime victims field, and raise public awareness about victims’ rights and services.

To support your awareness efforts during NCVRW, April 23–29, 2023, consider applying for NCVRW Community Awareness Projects grants. These grants reimburse up to $5,000 in costs associated with conducting public awareness campaign activities during NCVRW, including—

  • public events, such as candlelight vigils, resource fairs, and 5k walk/runs;
  • mass media advertising; and
  • the production, publication, and distribution of printed awareness materials.

Register for a pre-application webinar on Friday, October 28, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. eastern time to learn more about application requirements. Participation in the webinar is not required, but is strongly encouraged.
