New Center Offers Support to VOCA Administrators

At the 2021 National Joint Conference for VOCA Victim Assistance and Compensation Administrators, OVC Director Kristina Rose announced the launch of the OVC Center for VOCA Administrators (The OVC VOCA Center).

The OVC VOCA Center provides no cost training and technical assistance to strengthen the capacity of VOCA Administrators to manage VOCA formula victim assistance and victim compensation funds.

In a video message, Director Rose states,

“Built on a peer-to-peer learning model, the Center is a collaborative Administrator-led support system. Our hope is that this approach will help in the day-to-day management of VOCA grants and help you to solve problems easier and faster.”

The OVC VOCA Center resource library features toolkits, videos, and other materials to strengthen victim assistance and compensation programs and services. VOCA Administrators can request training and technical assistance by email at [email protected] or phone at 202–480–5551.
