The U.S. Department of Justice is seeking applicants for its Fiscal Year 2020 Coordinated Tribal Assistance Solicitation (CTAS).
CTAS provides comprehensive funding to federally recognized Tribes, Tribal consortia, and Tribal designees to develop a comprehensive and coordinated approach to public safety and victimization.
CTAS applicants have the flexibility to submit a single application and select from any or all of the purpose areas, including one administered by OVC.
The OVC Children's Justice Act Partnerships for Indian Communities Program (Purpose Area #6) provides funding, technical assistance, and training to help American Indian and Alaska Native communities develop, establish, and operate programs designed to improve the investigation, prosecution, and handling of cases of criminal child abuse and neglect, and particularly child sexual abuse cases, in a manner which lessens trauma for child victims.
Visit the CTAS solicitation website to learn more and apply for this funding opportunity. This site provides answers to frequently asked questions, templates, and other materials to assist you.
Apply by 9:00 p.m. eastern time on February 25, 2020.
Note: the Tribal Victim Services Program (Purpose Area #7) is not included in CTAS this year. Later in fiscal year 2020, OVC will release a comprehensive victim services solicitation; however, it will be a stand-alone solicitation.
