Make Sure You are Counted in a Census of Victim Service Providers

OVC wants to ensure that all programs serving victims of crime are counted in the 2023 National Census of Victim Service Providers (NCVSP).

NCVSP data are critical to understanding the state of victim services across the country. With accurate information on all victim service programs and organizations, we can identify gaps in services and funding for programs responding to the needs of crime victims and survivors in every community.

If your organization or program provides direct services to victims of crime, please complete this brief form no later than Friday, February 10, 2023 to make certain your organization will receive an invitation to participate in the census.

The census is administered by the Bureau of Justice Statistics, in partnership with the National Organization for Victim Assistance, the Justice Research and Statistics Association, and Westat.

Any information you provide will only be used for statistical purposes during the study and in ways that will not reveal names of individual organizations or personal contact information.

If you have any questions, please contact the project director, Susan Howley, at [email protected].
