The National Network to End Domestic Violence’s Safety Net Project recently updated its Tech Safety App, which provides survivors and advocates with information on safety and privacy, how technology can be misused, and what survivors can do about technology abuse.
The OVC-funded Tech Safety App was first launched several years ago. Updates cover new technology, different forms of technology abuse, and tips and strategies to increase online privacy and safety.
Find help and tips about addressing technology-related abuse in both English and Spanish covering—
- phone safety,
- device safety,
- harassment and online harassment,
- impersonation, and
- location safety.
The app also includes contact information for national helplines and information about connecting with local service providers and attorneys.
