Light 2024 - A Multistate Educational Conference on Childhood Trauma

The Center for Prevention of Abuse is hosting Light 2024 on May 8 and 9, 2024 at the Par-A-Dice Hotel Casino in East Peoria, Illinois. Light 2024 aims to bring together experts, service providers, educators, and stakeholders to shine a light on childhood trauma and share and explore best practices, innovative campaigns and technology, preventative efforts and measures, and survivor care and strategies to help prevent, combat, and respond to childhood trauma. Hear from keynote speakers like Dr. Nadine Burke Harris (Founder of Center for Youth Wellness & Former Surgeon General of California) and Erin Merryn (Author, Child Abuse Awareness Advocate & Activist for “Erin’s Law”) in addition to dozens of breakout presentations.
