In honor of National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims, you are invited to join Victim Support Services for an evening of quiet remembrance. You do not need to be a homicide survivor to attend. If you are a community member, we encourage you to stop by to show your support and help bring awareness. Light refreshments will be provided.
The evening will begin with making luminaries for a candlelight vigil. All items will be provided, but please bring a photo of your loved one if you would like to include it on your luminary.
Victim Support Services staff will then share the history of the National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims. Participants are encouraged to share their personal story if they would like.
The event will close with a quiet candlelight vigil to reflect on our lost loved ones.
