Every field – law enforcement, victim service providers, policy makers, and Tribal, local, and state governments – can play an active role in responding to the Missing or Murdered Indigenous People (MMIP) crisis. Join a panel of American Indians and Alaska Natives as they discuss how to use Tribal Victim Services Set-Aside (TVSSA) funds to develop a community response, partner with law enforcement, and support MMIP families. Panelists will share how to utilize funds for collaboration building and creating a Tribal Community Response Plan. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions of the panelists during the session.
