Youth Panel in Honor of National Crime Victims' Right Week 2024

In honor of National Crime Victims' Rights Week, Momma's Safe Haven and DC Walk 4 Recovery are hosting this youth panel on the National Mall.

Topics to be discussed:

• Community Violence, 
• the Opioid Crisis,
• Mental / Behavioral Health, and
• Youth Leadership. 

Activities on the schedule include: 

• registration, 
• meditation and mindfulness, 
• speakers, 
• a commencement walk, 
• stop and take selfies, 
• music, 
• speakers
• vendor fair, 
• fly a kite in remembrance of your loved one, 
• national Go-Go Line dance, 
• Momma's Safe Haven Youth Panel and Artists of Expression before the final Victory call.
