Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2024, $200,000)

With this funding, Found Village will launch an expanded Basic Resource Coordination program for 100 victims of crime who are teens and young adults involved with foster care in Hamilton County, OH. Clients will be supported as they navigate unique barriers to accessing resources such as sudden housing changes, histories of trauma, and attendance at alternative schools. The program's three key goals are: to increase access to food for victims involved with foster care; to increase access to stable housing for victims involved with foster care; and, to increase access to transportation for victims involved with foster care.
