The North Dakota Human Trafficking Task Force (NDHTTF) serves the entire state of North Dakota (ND), which includes fifty-three counties and five Indian reservations, as well as the Trenton Indian Service Area. The NDHTTF headquarters are located in Bismarck, ND, central to the state. The Task Force’s Operational Team—comprised of Victim Witness Specialists/Navigators, BCI agents, a Tribal Nations Engagement Advisor, a Survivor Leader, a Labor Trafficking Specialist, and HSI agents—is split between two locations, Bismarck and Fargo, to provide leadership in the Eastern and Western parts of ND. The NDHTTF uses nine multidisciplinary (MDT) teams in communities throughout ND to work with the Operational Team and provide direct victim response, investigate, and prosecute cases of human trafficking, both labor and sex trafficking.
