Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2024, $200,000)

The purpose of this grant program is to provide culturally responsive services to crime victims and survivors from communities that have been historically underserved; marginalized; adversely affected by inequality; and disproportionately impacted by crime, violence, and victimization. With this funding, CENTRO CHA, INC., will address the gap in resources and basic needs of Latino and Immigrant victims of crime in the Long Beach, California area. The program will provide case management, housing, food, and transportation.
