This fellowship position will support OVC and the Alaska Native Action Team (ANAT) in improving the quality of life for Alaska Natives (AN) in rural and remote villages, with a focus on victim service needs, public safety, and the justice challenges these communities face. The two overarching goals for this fellowship program are to assess and identify the extent of public safety and justice needs and challenges of rural and remote AN villages, with a focus on services to victims of crime; and to improve the accessibility of victim services, public safety, and relevant federal and state services and programs for AN villages and associations.CA/NCF
