Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2020, $600,000)
The purpose of this solicitation is designed to prevent/reduce victimization of girls who are vulnerable to sex trafficking. Applicants funded under this solicitation are expected to expand the skills of program providers and other stakeholders working to prevent trafficking of girls. The award made to Youth Collaboratory is funded under FY 2020 Preventing Trafficking of Girls Category 1 which is designed to provide TTA to the Category 1 program sites who are preventing trafficking and providing services for girls who are risk of or have been sex trafficked (under age 18). The applicant also proposes to work with individuals in systems likely to encounter minor girls in other capacities, such as juvenile court judges and school staff members.
