OVC FY24 National Joint Training Conference for VOCA Victim Assistance and Victim Compensation Administrators (2022-2024) – Invited to Apply

The National Joint Training Conference for VOCA Victim Assistance and Crime Victim Compensation Program Administrators brings staff of administering agencies from states, territories, and the District of Columbia together with their federal colleagues. This conference is a unique opportunity to obtain critical information to strengthen program and grant administration and learn about promising practices and innovations. The conference provides a forum for administrators to network and exchange information, experiences, and ideas with peers who have similar responsibilities, as well as meet with federal officials, colleagues, and other allied professionals. Conference attendance is mandatory for administrators, pursuant to special conditions on formula VOCA awards. The conference will be held annually in 2022, 2023, and 2024 with an overall emphasis on VOCA formula subject matters, issues raised by the Office of the Inspector General, fundamental grants and financial management trainings, programmatic and innovative trainings, and criminal justice topics. OVC will hold regular meetings with the selected recipient to identify the topics for the conference and possible speakers and workshop facilitators.
