OVC FY 2023 Invited to Apply - Advancing Hospital-Based Victim Services Technical Assistance Project

The Advancing Hospital-Based Victim Services (AHVS) Initiative promotes multidisciplinary, victim-centered, and trauma-informed approaches that provide and expand supports for victims. A non-competitive award will be issued to the current AHVS training and technical assistance (TTA) provider, the Health Alliance for Violence Prevention (HAVI), to support their continued provision of TA to OVC-funded AHVS programs from FY 2021 and FY 2022 and additional programs funded under the FY 2022 Byrne Discretionary Community Project Funding solicitation. Through this dedicated TTA support, the HAVI will continue to develop tools that educate victim service providers on effectiveness of hospital-based response and other related strategies for supporting crime victims, improving their outcomes, and interrupting cycles of harm.
