Description

This solicitation complements and builds on OVC’s prior tribal victim services set-aside discretionary funding program to improve services for victims of crime in tribal communities. Interested tribal applicants will be required to submit a pre-application with eligibility and population information, and a full application if OVC notifies them they are eligible to apply for a specified award amount. OVC anticipates funding awards in the range of $350,000 to $3 million for a performance period of up to 5 years, estimated to begin on January 1, 2021. Amounts per tribe will be determined by a formula described in the Program-Specific Information section of the solicitation. OVC will conduct two pre-application webinars on April 7 and 13, 2020, to review requirements and answer questions. Participation in the webinars is optional, but strongly encouraged. Register at www.ovc.gov/grants/webinars.html. Submit your pre-application by April 30, 2020 and full application by June 15, 2020.
