I am pleased to announce that the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) has published a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking in the Federal Register (“Notice”) on Monday, February 5, 2024, to enhance the federal crime victim compensation program. It is now open for public comment.

During FYs 2021-2022, OVC supported direct services for victims of federal crimes through multiple federal agency programs.
