OVC FY 2024 Integrated Services for Minor Victims of Human Trafficking

The goal of this program is to provide services that address the needs of minor victims of sex and labor trafficking through a continuum of trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and gender-responsive services to ensure their safety, security, and healing and to prevent them from being directed to or involved in the justice system. This program intends to improve outcomes for children and youth who are victims of human trafficking by—

  • integrating human trafficking policy and programming at the state or Tribal level; and
  • encouraging coordinated, multidisciplinary, and statewide approaches to serving trafficked youth.

OVC Anti-Trafficking Commemorative Event

In recognition of January’s National Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention Month, we hosted this 20th Anniversary Commemoration of OVC’s Anti-Trafficking Programs event.

The event theme is Collaboration, Transformation, and Impact: 20 Years of OVC’s Anti-Trafficking Efforts, which highlights grantees’ impact on the lives of thousands of trafficking survivors over two decades of OVC funding, assistance and support, while also looking to the future as the Department of Justice’s response to human trafficking continues to evolve.
