8th Annual Walk of Hope

Join the Lamar County District Attorney's Office in solidarity to support individuals who have been victims of crime in the county! 

This event is a beacon of hope, reminding victims that they are not alone in their struggle against abuse and encouraging them to report crimes to law enforcement every time. If you know someone who might be a victim, reach out to them. Show them they have a friend and help them navigate their way out of abuse! 

Event Details: 

• Date: Thursday, April 25th, 2024.
• Program: Free hot dogs served starting at 11:30 a.m.; program begins at noon; music by Mix Society; featured speaker: Judge Bill Harris; walk starts at 12:30 p.m.
• Location: Culbertson Fountain, Downtown Paris, Texas.
• Walk Route: Approximately 1 mile around the downtown area, with participants holding supportive signs for crime victims.
