National Crime Victims' Rights Week: Yoga & Trauma-Informed Meditation Part 2: Ground and Release

We all experience stress or obstacles on a daily basis; however, many of us are experiencing them in a greater and often chronic capacity. The intention of this class is to empower us to discharge previous stress activations that we were not able to process at the moment. Stored, unprocessed stressors build up and can manifest in the mind and body in a myriad of negative ways. In this practice, we will consciously take time to activate the body through an invigorating yoga flow (open to all levels of experience), then ground and release energetic blockages from our bodies through a guided meditation. No materials are needed, but a yoga mat or soft towel, water, and a pillow are encouraged.
