The webinar for Victim Compensation Administrators will explore a provision in the VOCA Fix Act which gives victim compensation programs flexibility to find good cause for not cooperating with law enforcement if such cooperation may be impacted due to a victim’s age, physical condition, psychological state, cultural or linguistic barriers, or any other health or safety concern that jeopardizes the victim’s wellbeing. Administrators will hear the experience of one state that was able to modify rules and policies to enhance good cause exceptions in a variety of ways.
