Effective policies and procedures are essential to the administering of VOCA Victim Assistance and Compensation funds at State Administering Agencies. Development and implementation of SAA policies and procedures ensure compliance with federal rules and regulations, consistent administration of assistance and compensation in states and territories, and quality service delivery at the state or territory and subrecipient level.
Through this webinar on April 16, 2025, the OVC VOCA Center will provide an overview of understanding the basics of policies and procedures, components of effective policies and procedures, the development process, implementation and training, required policies and legal considerations.
