The Annual Utah Trafficking in Persons (UTIP) Conference, in cooperation with the Utah Attorney General’s Office, the University of Utah’s S.J. Quinney College of Law, the Asian Association of Utah, and the Utah Trafficking in Persons Task Force is designed to inform and educate on how to better support and engage with survivors of both labor trafficking and sex trafficking and strengthen collaborative anti-trafficking efforts. National and local experts will present on topics such as how to better engage with male victims of labor trafficking, how online predators use open-source technology, safeguarding unaccompanied children, burnout in the workplace and many others. The keynote address will be presented by Survivor Consultant, Evelyn Chumbow. The Conference is free and all those who are interested are welcome to attend.
