Community-Based Victim Services Program

The Council on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault (CDVSA) currently funds 36 Victim Service providers across the State of Alaska.  These programs provide comprehensive services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse and victims of other crimes.  CDVSA is the primary funding source for most of these providers, and due to the high cost of services provision in our state, it is crucial to maintain stable funding levels to continue services victims who are often isolated and in need of assistance in areas lacking resources.
