The purpose of this cooperative agreement is to support the planning and development of victimization-focused public awareness campaigns targeted at underserved and socially isolated populations that will raise community awareness of crime victims' rights and services.

The Outreach Services to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer (LGBTQ) Relationship Violence Victims project will serve the Washington, District of Columbia LGBTQ community members who are victims or potential victims of relationship violence. This project will be conducted by Women Empowered Against Violence (WEAVE), Inc. in partnership with 12-15 organizations within the District of Columbia that focus on relationship violence to develop a media outreach campaign with support materials and community presentations that raise awareness of LGBTQ relationship victimization and services available to assist those victims.
