The Tennessee Elder Justice Conference, an initiative of the East Tennessee Area Agency on Aging and Disability, a division of ETHRA, is dedicated to combating elder and vulnerable adult exploitation and abuse across all sectors of society. The conference aims to achieve this by fostering education, investigation, legislation, and prosecution.
Scheduled to take place at The Park Vista Hotel, the conference is set to commence on Monday, October 28, 2024, with several intensive sessions offering CLE, POST, NGA, & CEU Credits. Intensives include a 3-hour Ethics training starting at 10:00 a.m. and followed by 2-hour Situational Awareness training, and Tennessee Conservatorship training. The conference will run until approximately 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2024.
Featuring nationally recognized speakers, expert sessions and targeted workshops led by industry leaders from various fields such as Legal, Education, Research, Advocacy, and Financial Institutions, this event offers an invaluable opportunity for professionals to come together, exchange ideas, and collaborate towards the common goal of elder justice.
