The Tennessee Elder Justice Conference, an initiative of the East Tennessee Area Agency on Aging and Disability, a division of ETHRA, is dedicated to combating elder and vulnerable adult exploitation and abuse across all sectors of society. The conference aims to achieve this by fostering education, investigation, legislation, and prosecution. 

Scheduled to take place at The Park Vista Hotel, the conference is set to commence on Monday, October 28, 2024, with several intensive sessions offering CLE, POST, NGA, & CEU Credits. Intensives include a 3-hour Ethics training starting at 10:00 a.m. and followed by 2-hour Situational Awareness training, and Tennessee Conservatorship training. The conference will run until approximately 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2024. 

Featuring nationally recognized speakers, expert sessions and targeted workshops led by industry leaders from various fields such as Legal, Education, Research, Advocacy, and Financial Institutions, this event offers an invaluable opportunity for professionals to come together, exchange ideas, and collaborate towards the common goal of elder justice. Agencies and organizations interested in supporting and partnering with the Tennessee Elder Justice Conference are encouraged to participate and contribute to this important initiative. The Tennessee Elder Justice Conference offers a variety of features designed to provide comprehensive education and training for professionals working in the field of elder abuse prevention, prosecution, and advocacy. 

This upcoming event offers a unique opportunity to earn Continuing Legal Education (CLE), Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST), National Guardianship Association (NGA), and other Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits. The Tennessee Elder Justice Conference offers several partner opportunities designed to maximize exposure and facilitate connections with over 300 professionals from across Tennessee and the United States.
