Law enforcement and victim advocacy are both critical pieces of the puzzle to effectively address domestic violence services. And when law enforcement and victim advocacy work together and in tandem, everyone benefits.

During this Justice Clearinghouse webinar, they will discuss the opportunities and challenges of collaboration between agencies, as well as how brain injury can impact initial law enforcement interactions that often occur right after physical assaults have happened. The Justice Clearinghouse will also discuss effective documentation of brain injury, as well as suggested protocols for responding to domestic violence calls involving head, neck, and facial injuries. Finally, they will highlight successful collaboration between law enforcement and victim advocacy, and you will leave with new ideas for addressing this critically under-identified issue.

All Justice Clearinghouse webinars are 75 minutes long (1 hour for formal presentation, 10-15 minutes for Q&A).
