The Greater Rockies Immersive Training on Exploitation and Trafficking (GRIT) Conference is brought to you by FYN Global, a training and consulting business, and Uprising, a Wyoming-based nonprofit. The mission of the GRIT conference is to enhance the competency, confidence, and collaboration of multidisciplinary professionals in preventing exploitation and trafficking, as well as identifying and supporting victims through innovative approaches to education, training, and skill-building.

By uniting communities and driving innovation in prevention and intervention education, the sponsors aim to build the capacity of individuals and teams to combat trafficking and exploitation across their region. GRIT was established to help strengthen rural communities by equipping them with resources, knowledge, strategic partnerships, and support so they can become more resilient and a proactive force for justice and restoration.

Designed to cultivate sustainable change in how multidisciplinary teams throughout the Rocky Mountain region respond to, investigate, and prosecute exploitation-based crimes, GRIT fuses together the latest research in adult education, field expertise, and innovative immersion training to enhance each attendee’s training experience.

GRIT 2026 is hosted by FYN Global and Uprising in collaboration with the Montana and Wyoming Attorney Generals' Offices.

The 2026 conference theme is Advancing Victim Engagement and Trauma Response.
