Do you have a teenager in your life and struggle to communicate with them about healthy relationships? Do you know how to spot red flags, including those in the current dating scene and on social media? These statistics are just a glimpse into the realities many teens face today. Nearly 1 in 3 teenagers in a romantic relationship admit to being in an unhealthy relationship. If you're interested in learning more about Teen Dating Violence, the Virginia Department of Corrections Victim Services Unit invites you to register for the Victim Services Unit Lunch and Learning Sessions this February. This event seeks to raise awareness, build understanding, and empower our teens to foster healthy, respectful relationships. Register to join this event to close out TDVAM with Speakers Bureau Member Natalie Purdie and “I Dated A Psycho” as she shares her life experience of Teen Dating Violence.
