Join the Portland Police Department and Cumberland County DA's Office at the 2025 Victims' Rights Community Event where the community will come together to raise awareness, offer support, and honor those affected by crime. This year's theme "Kinship, Connection & Healing" emphasizes the importance of support and connection in the healing process after a violent crime. The event will include light bites, music, speakers, trauma-informed yoga classes, and an evening vigil for lives lost to violent crime. Throughout the event a group of service providers will be tabling to share resources and information for crime victims and community members to support victims of crime. Join the Portland Police Department and Cumberland County DA's Office as they share stories of resilience, provide resources, and foster a sense of unity within the community.
