Building Partnerships

The Good Samaritans program unites law enforcement and faith-based and community organizations to train and mobilize volunteers to assist crime's most vulnerable and underserved victims. Volunteers link victims with other community services and offer emotional support to those whose world has been shaken by crime. Trained volunteers help victims secure their homes after a break-in, replace stolen documents, find needed community services, and settle their nerves after a crime.

Through this collaboration and coordination, crime victims have access to support systems and community services that they otherwise might not have known about.
