Topic: Stages of Recovery

    Learning Objectives
    After training, participants will be able to—

    • Name at least four stages of recovery from victimization.
    • Name three characteristics of each stage.
    • Accurately identify the stage a victim is experiencing.

    Training Techniques
    Obtain news footage of an interview with a crime victim. Have participants identify
    what stage of recovery the victim is in and its indications.
