Family violence

The Center provides trauma-informed treatments and services to children and families, builds professional knowledge through clinical research, and advances the field of child trauma treatment through collaboration, training, and dissemination.

The Institute provides information on many areas of family violence and sexual assault.

Futures Without Violence develops strategies, programs, and resources to stop family violence. Its website offers a news desk and prevention toolkits and information on Futures Without Violence's programs and services in public education, child welfare, immigration, public health, and criminal justice.

The overarching goal of the National Center on Domestic Violence, Trauma & Mental Health is to ensure that all survivors of domestic violence and their children who are experiencing abuse-related trauma and/or living with mental illness can access the services that they may need to enhance their safety and well-being.

The NCFV is Canada’s resource center for information on violence within relationships of kinship, intimacy, dependency or trust.

The National Council on Child Abuse and Family Violence provides intergenerational violence prevention services by bringing together community and national stakeholders, professionals, and volunteers to prevent family violence, child abuse and neglect, spouse/partner abuse, and elder abuse.

The Family Research Laboratory works to understand family violence and the impact of violence in families.
