OVC FY 14 Vision 21: Linking Systems of Care for Children and Youth State Demonstration Project

OVC will make up to two awards of up to $500,000 each to state-level demonstration sites to develop a consistent, coordinated response to child and youth victims and their families and caregivers that addresses the presenting issues and full range of victim needs. The project will be conducted in two phases. This solicitation is for Phase 1 funding only. During the Phase 1 planning process, participating states will work with a network of stakeholders to review the existing policies and protocols of the partnering agencies to identify strengths and gaps in services.

OVC will make awards ranging from $200,000 to $500,000 to organizations with a demonstrated history of providing either comprehensive or specialized services for victims of human trafficking within the United States. Funding also will support efforts to increase interagency collaboration and the coordinated community response to victims of human trafficking. This competitive solicitation will fund two Vision 21 Fellowships. The Legal Assistance Fellowship will be critical in assisting OVC with any implementation efforts related to support of comprehensive, holistic legal assistance for victims of crime. The Strategic Engagement Fellowship will support OVC's efforts across the framework created by Vision 21 to ensure the field has a deeper understanding and awareness of the key issues and a strategic path for engagement.
