Cyber Civil Rights Initiative (link is external)

This organization provides victims of intimate image abuse (nonconsensual intimate image sharing), and other forms of online abuse with support and referral services. Contact their toll free Image Abuse Helpline hotline at 844-878-2274. The Initiative also offers information for policymakers, attorneys, and others to help them understand and combat image-based sexual abuse.

Mobile Apps for Crime Victims and Providers Compiled by OVC

This section of the OVC site contains a list of free apps that provide information, support, and resources about various types of victimization. These apps were created by government agencies and non-profit organizations, and some apps were developed with funding support from OVC.

This section of the Federal Trade Commission website provides information about identity theft, tips on how to protect your identity, and steps to take if your identity has been stolen.

U.S. Department of Justice: Elder Justice Initiative

This site serves as a resource for victims of elder abuse and financial exploitation and their families, practitioners who serve them, law enforcement agencies and prosecutors, and researchers seeking to understand and address this silent epidemic plaguing our Nation's elders. Victims and family members will find information about how to report and get assistance for victims of elder abuse and financial exploitation.

This organization provides bilingual advocacy and services to Latina victims of intimate partner violence. Their website includes a resource library, training and technical assistance opportunities, and more. Victims of domestic violence may contact the Esperanza United 24-hour bilingual crisis line at 651–772–1611 (Minnesota only).

Loveisrespect.org (link is external)

This initiative promotes awareness of healthy dating relationships by making vital resources accessible to help teens experiencing dating violence and offering tips on preventing abusive relationships. The Loveisrespect.org helpline provides 24/7 phone (866-331-9474), text (text: LOVEIS to 22522) and chat services to victims of dating violence; service providers and allied professionals; and concerned parents, friends and other members of the community.

Department of Defense (DoD): Safe Helpline (link is external)

The DoD Safe Helpline is a confidential crisis support service for adult service members of the DoD community affected by sexual assault. Operated by the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network (RAINN), the helpline provides live, one-on-one expert advice and information 24/7.

USA.gov

As the U.S. government's official web portal, USA.gov makes it easy for the public to get U.S. government information and services on the web. USA.gov also serves as the catalyst for a growing electronic government.

Identity Theft Resource Center (link is external)

The Identity Theft Resource Center is a nonprofit consumer information, research, and advocacy organization that offers public education, prevention tips, victim information guides, and other resources. Victims of identity theft can receive expert services by contacting the Center's hotline toll free at 888-400-5530 or online chat.

U.S. Department of Health & Human Services: Eldercare Locator

This toll free service (800-677-1116) helps older adults and their caregivers find local services for seniors, including home care, transportation, housing alternatives, home repair, recreation, social activities, and legal and other community services. The directory is a service of the U.S. Administration on Aging.

Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network (RAINN) (link is external)

RAINN operates a 24-hour hotline for English- and Spanish-speaking survivors of sexual assault (800-656-HOPE or online chat). RAINN provides a safe, secure, and anonymous place for victims to get help. RAINN also works to promote education and prevention of sexual assault, compiles and shares links to Legal Resources, including the State Mandatory Regulations regarding children and the elderly.
