Tribal Victim Services Set-Aside Program Performance Measures Webinar

This OVC webinar provides guidance for reporting on the required performance measures for Tribal Victim Services Set-Aside Program grantees. Members of OVC’s performance management team provide an overview of performance reporting requirements, processes for accessing the Performance Measurement Tool system, entering quarterly performance measures, generating the semiannual PDF report, completing semiannual MMIP measures and submitting semiannual performance reports in JustGrants, along with additional resources.

OVC Orientation for FY 2023 TVSSA Grantees Undertaking Construction or Renovation Projects

This webinar provides an overview of construction and renovation projects under the Tribal Victim Services Set-Aside program (TVSSA). TVSSA grantees will learn about the five construction-related special conditions and what they must do to ensure compliance with them. Additionally, representatives from The Clark Group, the Environmental Compliance/NEPA Contractor, and Blue Trident, the Construction Project Management Training and Technical Assistance Provider, provide an overview of the services they provide to TVSSA grantees. Tribal applicants whose OVC FY 2023 Tribal Victim Services Set-Aside (TVSSA) Formula Program population certification was accepted have been notified via an email to the applicant primary points of contact and authorized representatives. Applicants should refer to the OVC FY 2023 TVSSA Formula Program solicitation for instructions on how to submit their application.

FY 2023 Tribal Set-Aside Formula Program Consultation

December 2022
OVC invited Tribal leaders, representatives, and stakeholders to participate in a November 9, 2022, consultation on the Tribal Set-Aside from the Crime Victims Fund for Fiscal Year 2023. Attendees discussed enhancing the FY 2023 Tribal Victim Services Set-Aside Program application process, improving outcomes for projects that include major renovation and construction; and strengthening services for families of Missing or Murdered Indigenous Persons (MMIP).

Funding & Awards

OVC administers two Victims of Crime Act formula grant programs that support crime victim compensation and assistance—the cornerstone of support for victims throughout the Nation. 

Additionally, OVC is charged by Congress with administering set-aside funds from the Crime Victims Fund for a Tribal Victim Services Set-Aside program which provide support to Tribal communities to enhance services for victims of crime.
