New Grants and Payment Management Systems Now Available!

The Justice Grants System (JustGrants) and the Department of the Treasury’s Automated Standard Application for Payments (ASAP) are now available for all award management and payment activities. Award recipients with the Office of Justice Programs (OJP) can login to JustGrants or visit the informational website for further resources and support. Additionally, ASAP is now available for enrolled Department of Justice award recipients to request funds. For more information on how to request funds in ASAP, please reference the user guide

OVC FY 2022 Invited to Apply – Mass Violence Needs Assessments Project

This project will complete and expand on the Needs Assessment surveys, interviews, analyses, and related activities that the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) initiated in the FY 2017 National Mass Violence Victimization Resource Center award. Activities were not completed during that award though interim/preliminary analysis was conducted on some community sites and a number or direct victims.

  • identify barriers that prevent all victims of crime, including victims of color, from accessing and receiving compensation,

OVC FY 2022 Measuring the Impact of Victim Services: Implementation, Management, and Sustainment of the Measures for Providers Responding to Victimization Experiences (iMPRoVE) Project

The goal of this solicitation is for the award recipient to implement, manage, and sustain the iMPRoVE project for victim service providers. The iMPRoVE project provides an assessment survey tool for victim service providers to be able to measure outcomes and assess the effectiveness and quality of services provided to their clients.

OVC FY 2022 VOCA Victim Assistance Formula Grant

OVC will award each eligible state and territory victim assistance program an annual grant to support eligible crime victim assistance programs in that state or territory. All states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Guam, and the Northern Mariana Islands are eligible to receive an annual VOCA victim assistance formula grant. Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements specified in VOCA, 34 U.S.C. § 20103(b).

OVC will award each eligible state victim compensation program an annual grant equal to 75 percent of the amount the program awarded in state-funded victim compensation payments during the fiscal year 2 years prior to the present fiscal year, other than amounts awarded for property damage.
