Second Quarter PMT Extension of Deadline

OVC FY 17 VOCA Victim Compensation

Closing Date
OVC will award each eligible state victim compensation program an annual grant equal to 60 percent of what the state spent in state-funded benefits in the previous two years, other than amounts awarded for property damage. Funds under this program shall be used by the states and territories for awards of compensation benefits to crime victims, with the following exception: states may retain up to 5 percent of their total grant for administrative and training purposes. Apply by July 18, 2017.

OVC FY 17 2018 National Crime Victims' Rights Week Resource Guide

Closing Date
The Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) invites the National Center for Victims of Crime to submit an application for funding to develop the on-line 2018 National Crime Victims’ Rights Week Resource Guide and the development of the a NCVRW Theme Narrative. This includes developing and submitting a written expository narrative which explains the message of the NCVRW theme as selected or provided by OVC.

OVC FY 16 VOCA Victim Compensation

OVC will award each eligible state victim compensation program an annual grant equal to 60 percent of what the state spent in state-funded benefits 2 years previously, other than amounts awarded for property damage. Funds under this program shall be used by the states and territories for awards of compensation benefits to crime victims, with the following exception: states may retain up to 5 percent of their total grant for administrative and training purposes. Those applying are urged to begin in advance of the July 11, 2016, deadline.

OVC FY 15 Sexual Assault Forensic Medical Examination Telemedicine Center Pilot Project Invitational Letter

Closing Date
The Sexual Assault Forensic Medical Examination Telemedicine Center Pilot Project is a 3 year demonstration project that has created a National TeleNursing Center. It includes funding for four pilot sites (rural, tribal, military, and correctional) that will use the services of the National TeleNursing Center, necessary technology, staffing for the center itself, and a process evaluation. This FY15 continuation award will provide funding to continue and expand the Center’s operations.
